its the truth isnt it? i asked, has this situation ever happened before? A 2x champion in the division asking another champion in the same division to fight below the division they are both champions in? Why are you guys mad at the truth? Show me another example. Im willing to be proven wrong.Comment

As long as the agreed upon weight is UNDER the limit (154) its ALL good!
A featherweight (126) can fight at 156 because he doesn't exceed the 154 LIMIT!! Get over the weight agreement it means nothing, its TWO pounds!!!!

I'm not mad at the truth, but you asked the question in such a wierd way to make it seem legitimate. your asking it like he is exclusively a 154lb fighter who won 2 titles and campaigns in that division; when he is a 147 lb fighter that is great enough to win the 154lb title twice while never weighing more than 150.its the truth isnt it? i asked, has this situation ever happened before? A 2x champion in the division asking another champion in the same division to fight below the division they are both champions in? Why are you guys mad at the truth? Show me another example. Im willing to be proven wrong.
so the situation may have happened in the 70's or before but I don't know of it. of course there aren't a lot of fighters great enough to do what floyd did so it would be difficult to find another example.
hey if you feel this is a legitimate criticism carry on.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 05-31-2013, 11:09 AM.Comment

technically, they are still fighting in their same division. super welters can weigh anywhere between 148lbs-154lbs.Comment
