All of this is irrelevant. The right question isn't being asked; which is:

Is Floyd showing a inferiority complex in asking for and agreeing to a catchweight. If size doesn't matter and if skills pay the bills, asking a young, unbeaten fighter to come down to 152 (a weight he probably hasn't been at in years, even though it's only 2 pounds less). What is he hoping to achieve?

        really?

and the only reason this got made is because Showtime probably finally saw the Guerrero numbers and asked Floyd to fight someone people actually have heard of
They felt he wasnt ready at the time. I believe it was after the canelo/mosley fight.

but yea i agree, showtime was probably like **** dat homie we spending 200 mill yo black ass better deliever lol.

My point is you and the others haters on this message board aren't intelligent enough to engage in a battle of wits with people who actually know something about boxing.

Just fought at 147 AGAIN And now he's going up again against a champ over a decade younger and 15-20 lbs heavier and people are crying foul because of 1lb? stop it.

and im saying this as someone who doesnt like cw fights for titles.

All honesty he shouldve been stripped of the 154 title for not defending it in over a year. So we wouldnt have to hear this bs
This is exactly sums up my opinion. ****ing guy gets called a coward and and all this **** about he would duck Canelo and now that he's finally fighting him people are already downplaying it for 2 pounds?!

Hold on, didn't FMJ say that Miguel Cotto is an "undefeated fighter because he faced Pacquiao, but Pacquiao caught him at a catchweight. It wasn't the best Miguel Cotto. He was drained; he wasn't hydrated. I want him to be comfortable and feel good when we meet and go into this battle."

FMJ felt like those 2 lbs was a genuine hindrance on Cotto. Why is he applying a double standard on Canelo??? It's hypocrisy.

especially after bragging about how it was ok for Cotto to be at 154 because he wanted his opponent at a weight where they were 'comfortable' at
Yeah, that's my thoughts on it, dude has shown that he had no issue fighting there before and he stated his opinions on the matter which makes it look worse. The really bad thing is that ODLH got KTFO in that BHOP fight too, left hook to da liva.
