Mayweather sets the rules to give him the best advantage, but we all knew that.

So to answer the question "Has a current title holder ever challenged another title holder in the same class to a catch weight title bout" is yes.

Changing the criteria after the fact doesn't make my first post invalid it simply makes you look childish. I answered your question absolutely correct and now your claiming otherwise.

This is your very first answer in this thread:

      Which is incorrect.

Oscar vs Bernard is not the same exact scenario as Floyd vs Canelo.

Oscar only had one fight in the division (which he really lost) when he asked bernard for the catch weight. Floyd has two fights.

How is that the same exact scenario?

It is not the same thing which his answer claims.

whether i edited my post or not, his answer is incorrect.
Your so full of ****. If you actually watched boxing rather than log on to nsb for the sole purpose of floyd hating you wouldve known this. Then you switch the criteria after mak-another manny loving floyd hater- clarifies what you meant to save you from making yourself look even more of an *******.

You're so pathetic you can't even manage to get hating right.

oscar was a man who fought almost every legit champion and contender in and around his divisions from the mid90s towards the end of his career. Plus he nver complained about catchweights. Floyd does. End of story.

lol at this guy talking like Oscar is a saint, Oscar did the same thing to Hopkins. The Pacquiao fight was a freaking cherrypick that turned really bad, he was sure he would spank pacquiao being a much bigger guy. In the Floyd fight he got all the advantages. He was the biggest star so he was dictating his terms in pretty much all of his fights, hes not worse or better than Floyd. When you get to the top, you dictate the terms, not only in boxing but in life. Why somebody with less power would tell you what to do ?
