Just fought at 147 AGAIN And now he's going up again against a champ over a decade younger and 15-20 lbs heavier and people are crying foul because of 1lb? stop it.

and im saying this as someone who doesnt like cw fights for titles.

All honesty he shouldve been stripped of the 154 title for not defending it in over a year. So we wouldnt have to hear this bs

You are also saying tht it would it be okay to fight Alvarez at a catchweigt if Mayweather had gotten a gift decision against Oscar or Cotto? And it would be okay if Mayweather had only one fight at 154 instead of two. Would it also be okay if Alvarez has spent five years in prison like Hopkins did? Or would it also be okay if Alvarez had KO'd Cotto (Mayweather's toughest opponent) the way Hopkins KO'd Oscar's toughest opponent, Felix Trinidad?

The fact is the TS has been owned and you haters are willing to throw out any ridiculous excuse to justify your hatred.

so what you guys are saying is that no 2x division champion in history has ever asked a fellow champion in the same division to fight at a catch weight even thought they have a belt in the same division? ok got it.

So you are saying that Mayweather has something in common with Alvarez. Alvarez fought both Shane Mosley and Carlos Baldomir (both former Mayweather victims at 147) at 154 after they became old and slow and was going to fight the old and slow Cotto (another former Mayweather victim) if the Mayweather fight could not be made.

ok but who are oscar de la hoya and hopkins? i only know pac and floyd. no but seriously you got me good. it's still the biggest disgrace in boxing history because floyd's the only 2 time champ to request a catchweight with a guy in the same division! beat that!

Floyd wanted a Canelo fight a year ago? and it was Canelo that turned it down?

            really?

and the only reason this got made is because Showtime probably finally saw the Guerrero numbers and asked Floyd to fight someone people actually have heard of

That is correct because, in the eyes of haters like you, it only matters if the person is a 2x champion whose name is Mayweather instead of one-time champion named De La Hoya.

but to answer the ts first question. ODLH did.
To try to answer his second question because he didnt get the response he wanted: No, this is the first time The linear 147lb ww champion with a made up "super champion" wba belt at 154lb will be fighting the 154lb (linear?) champion at a catchweight of 152lbs that the 154lb (linear?) champion asked for.
