Still hate the ****, but when he fights i cannot honestly criticise him. Eventhough i thought it would be a UD, Canelo did everything i thought he needed to in order to give Floyd problems, but Floyd is too damn good.

See the Mosley fight. EVeryone said he would never fight "too good" Mosley. Yet when he did, Mosley went from too good to, too old. Martinez won't be any different. Cowards will talk **** before hand and replay the Mosley excuses after the fact. If anything I see Floyd moving down to 140 for a linage that would make history.

This was one of the most meaningful exchanges between the commentators last night. Very accurate assessment from them.

It got my attention as I was thinking people would probably try and say he was running. Then out of nowhere they make it very clear that he's not. I think they did it as a lot of casuals probably tuned in and they think if you don't stand flat footed or leap face first into a fighters punch, you're running. See the pac fans for examples.

I've been saying this since weeks ago (and you can look at my post history). Canelo, besides being explosive and a great puncher, has a better chance at Floyd than Ortiz and Cotto did. Factor in his huge following, undefeated record, and youth and he will have no problem getting more than a fair shake from the judges. I've been saying this all along.

I doubt it would look as bad as Pacquiao-Bradley, though. Canelo will look better in spots like Cotto did, only better because of his commitment to punches. I've been settled into the prediction that this fight will end in a majority decision for either guy. No split, no unanimous, no draw. MAJORITY for either.

Having said all that, I really hope I'm wrong and Floyd looks spectacular but I doubt it'll be like Marquez or Guerrero. Canelo's a threat.
