Don't expect CJ Ross to be looked into for her scorecard
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...-draw/2816871/
Keith Kizer, NSAC boss had the following to say...
"Just because a judge's scorecard ends up even, doesn't mean the judge necessarily thought the fight as a whole was even. It could be that a judge has six rounds for each fighter, but the six rounds she gave fighter A, she gave them to him easily and the six rounds she gave fighter B, they were really close rounds. That's pretty much how it was last night.
That just FURTHERS the case for her incompetence if she thought there were that many close rounds.
And you score ALL of the close rounds to one guy?! If it is really that close of a round, on 6 separate occasions, you don't think at least ONCE you come up with the other guy edging it?Last edited by RlCKY; 09-17-2013, 01:09 PM.

I posted this in another thread...pretty interesting considering the outcry as Ms Ross's scorecard. But all this could mean is that nobody gave in a good card...
Ross had at least 1 judge agree with her in 10 of 12 rounds. Only the 1st and 8th rounds she was alone on her score.
Moretti had at least 1 judge agree with him in all 12 rounds.
Metcalfe had at least 1 judge agree with him in 7 of 12 rounds.
Strange judging anomaly here. If you take the "average score" per judge per round, the fight is scored 116-112 Floyd.
Would this kind of system of combining judges scores prevent similar issues from coming up in the future?
Could this come back and give the decision to the wrong boxer if ONE score is averaged out from the 3 judges and turned in??

floyd is one of the best. but i truly believe in about a years time bam bam will be ready to solve the puzzle. he has all the intangibles and his ring iq is better than ortiz's who gave him hell in 4 rounds...before giving him a way out.
