How was Prescott a cherry pick? Amir wanted to prove that he could beat a puncher...

No point in asking him is he's dumm. His posts tell you; he's pretty big dumm. Although he's so good on Mayweather stuff that they should put him on the PR payroll.

How the *** was that a cherry pick?

Lamont PEDerson failed a drug test and Tim Bradley ducked Khan. Garcia was the other champion in the division...

Don't forget the GIG one....Max Baer and the Cinderella Man. And the gargantuan catastrophe has already been mentioned -Tyson-Douglas. Then there was george foreman-Moorer. Foreman had been fighting only palookas and didn't deserve a title shot. As we all know he lost every round before rhat beautiful KO.

And the prime one in my opinion was De LaHoya-Trinidad. Oscar had a "Brains Trust" who used to pick opponents according to having weaknesses he could exploit. (like another we know well). Trinidad had had 15 defences, had outgrown the 147 lb class and had had great difficulty making weight for his previous 3-4 fights. At the weigh-in, Trinidad's bones were sticking out like parts of a skeleton. It was a close fight, which Oscar didn't expect, and Trinidad pressured him so much that he couldn'r catch a breather. Oscar had a bad habit of failing in the last 1/2rd of a fight and hated body blows. In this one, he lost rds 9,10,11,12, on all cards and rd 8 on 2 cards.
