None of these are Cherry picks really.

Calzaghe was #1 or #2 at 168 at the time. While Lacy was a favorite Joe was still at the top.

Bute vs Froch was considered Butes first real challenge and a 50/50 fight.

Oscar picking on 135 pound Pacquiao is a better example.

      Kessler-Ward

Big bad Euro monster Kessler (at the time) thought he was fighting a green kid. Until the ass whooping commenced.

lol at no one mentioning Martinez cherry picking Martin Murray and thought it would be another fight to pad his record.

Boy was that guy in for a rough night. Murray dropped him twice and arguably won the fight but win or lose it has made Martinez look horrible now.

Ortiz vs Lopez would come to mind first. Ishida vs Kirkland would be second for me. Then I would say Price and Thompson.

                Alexander the twat vs Kotelnik
Kotelnik just got rolled by Khan and the twat wanted a showcase fight
Kotelnik went into the twat's hometown and shit on him
home cooking saved him, but he was clearly outboxed and beaten

Kessler-Ward was contracted by the Super Six tournament and it was in Ward's home town

                    PAC-DLH

not only was that a shameless cherrypick, DLH did that to avoid Margarito

and not only did that fight totally backfire, it ended DLH's career...for that simple outcome, boxing should thank Pacquiao
