Funny how much hate Oscar is getting in here. It was not a cherry pick at all.

Most sane people knew just how drained Oscar would be. He was about 50, hadn't fought at welterweight for a decade and he looked terminally ill on 24/7. It was just one big money making exercise.

No way man.... Everyone panned that decisions and thought it was a shameless fight for Oscar to retire with a KO.

He clearly ducked Margarito (before Cotto-Marg Oscar was already talking about setting up a Oscar-Cotto fight) and picked the small Manny. That is about as blatant and atrocious of a cherry pick we have seen in recent years, and not only did he lose he got humiliated.

In hindsight every talks about Oscar weighing in at 147 and being old, but we dont appreciate how huge of an upset this was.
