If thats the question does he DESERVE the fight, then absolutely not, the guy doesn’t even deserve 2 wins that were given to him, let along a career high payday and have this wins attribute why he deserves the fight is insane. And I like Devon

His losses were tough fights, two of which are arguable 2 of the top 10 best fighters in the world. Neither Guerrero or Ortiz have ever been in the ring with that caliber of an opponent leading up to their fight with Mayweather.

Just because you're attempting to make an argument that Devon has a better resume than Floyd's previous opponents (whose resumes didn't wow anyone anyway) doesn't mean Devon is all of a sudden "deserving".

Floyd should have fought PWill, Pacquaio, Margarito, etc... if it was all about truly deserving.

But those fights didn't happen for whatever reason. And based Floyd's history of selecting opponents, Alexander deserves the same chances that he handed to Victor Ortiz and Robert Guerrero. What because they have more "entertaining" styles they are more deserving?

Neither Kotelnik nor matthysee were ranked at 140 when they beat Devon. Both were actually cherry picks gone wrong. They only became ranked fighters after beating devons ass. But devon gets credit for losing, more then they did for winning, its laughable.

Ortiz and Guerrero didnt deserve the fight and neither does Devon. the 2 markers you're using for devon "deserving" the fight is "simply facing" good fighters and because 2 other medicore fighters got it before them. At this point Floyd never has to fight a challenger again, youll support guys like Brook or Paulie

You can stop saying Lucas has Judah and Devon as wins. He doesn't. They were close fights that arguments can be made. He didn't get flat out robbed like say a Molina in the Kirkland fight. That's a WIN without the W.
