Mathysse, Garcia, Khan would all be available.

I guarantee Alexander is near the bottom of the list.

You guys are nuts, Alexander has NO chance, ZEROOOOO at beating Floyd...

Floyd doen't have any legitimate threats right now outside of Canelo...(sorry not buying into the Mathysse bandwagon as far as that goes)

When threats presented themselves Floyd didn't fight them...

When will you guys learn? He's making millions of dollars fighting these flat footed so called "exciting" fighters that the fans love and eat up their back stories and the promotional BS. They can't adjust in the ring, they can't cut off the ring and when Plan A fails, they don't know what the hell to do.

You have to be able to match Floyd's speed and athleticism at a minimum.

Out of the available options for September.... Canelo, Alexander, Trout, Lara or GTFOH.
They will never concede my man. They're too blinded by their hate for Devon to give him any resemblance of respect.

There is just no convincing some of these guys.

Im talking from a marketability point over view. Whether Alexander would "do better" than Danny Garcia isn't really the point. Floyd only cares about what fight will make him the most money.

Imo, you should make a thread on the topic of this post. Most people don't seem to get that it is indeed true about having to match his speed and athleticism. These flat footed fighters have a punchers chance and that's about all they have. If there was a non-stop pressure machine with an iron jaw out there then we'd have someone to talk about, but as of right now they're scarce.

Alexander is one to fit in the category of matching his handspeed and athleticism. Plus it'd be interesting to see Floyd fight a different style he's not used to of.

A fight between Matthysse and Gracia is almost made. Both Golden Boy and the fighters want it next so they are basically out of the running.

As for Khan, and I know reading comprehension is low on here, but he has Ramadan and can't fight in September.

So that leaves you with Devon.

I agree Floyd probably beats everyone, including Canelo. However, you are disrespecting Devon here. He has the speed and foot movement to compete with Floyd, along with the stamina to stay competitive late.

IMO he has a much better chance than Garcia or Matthysse because he can actually box.

I don't want to see Devon, Matthysse, or Amir vs Floyd. I just don't.
You want to attempt to make that fight? Have them all fight each other in some kind of tourney and the winner gets the fight PERIOD.

Half of this thread is about who GBP can sell as an opponent to the public. Is that how far we are falling off in boxing? Let Floyd make 30 plus million to fight a guy that he isn't challenging himself with?

Yea Devon CAN box but nobody in the sport today is beating Floyd in a "boxing" match unless they have an extraordinary jab IMO...

I could easily see Floyd walking Devon down or even boxing him...

These guys just aren't on his level...I think Garcia would get annihilated...

                      That would be respectable...

It is kinda funny having the idea of a tourney AT 140, to fight someone AT 147...
