Yes the Ghost was Floyd's mandatory and Alexander is a welterweight champion. They are legit fights. Bold a sentence and disagree with it. But read the entire post. It didn't revolve around 1 sentence. Both fights are legit. Are they worth 70 bucks ppv no, but they are legit. I unlike you do not associate bring with legit.

Ajose and soto were better fighters then anyone other then Madiana that Devon has beat in 3 years, its just a comparison to show how crappy Devon has been since 2 of his cherry picks and bradley backfired on him.

Wow what a resume, forget his losses he should definitely get a shot against Floyd!

Same as *******s who still claim he is the best of this era even though a nearly 40 year old Marquez knocked him out. An faded Morales beat him. He beat Morales after he already lost to raheem.people flip things to fit an agenda. Fighters are ranked by wins and loses and there is no dispute Alexander is more accomplished and beat better fighters than Lucas

It's not even close. Devon would have been undefeated if he fought Guerrero and Ortiz' pre-Floyd resume. If Guerrero and Ortiz fought Devon's resume, two losses at least, possibly 3.

This is a legitimate welterweight championship fight.
Good point, but the fact is Guerrero when undefeated all 7 of those fights, and Ortiz coming off a huge win over a totally overrated hype job it caught peoples interest. Devon isn’t that respected or have that aura around him as someone who can give Floyd a problem. Like I said stylistically he has o advantage against Floyd. You just can’t sell this fight

devon definitely deserves a shot. though the fight would be horrible and it is not PPV worthy, though...

would rather get floyd-devon than floyd-khan. cause as much of a joke as people would say floyd-devon, there is no joke measurable enough to be more of a joke than floyd-khan would be

Quantity over quality, That one win and and his competitive but boring loss to Bradley is better then both of Matthysse’s wins.

I love Maidana he is still living off that win over Quitter Ortiz and a strong finish against Khan like 3 years back.

Hes not a particularly good win on anybodies resume. It beats me why people still think hes good.

Anybody with boxing ability could outbox him. Hell the guy was getting outboxed by Soto Karrass ffs lol

According to GBP and Mayweather promotions? This is how we know who a legit challenger? Cmon think for yourself

And Please stop posting who he fought, he lost to 3 of the guys on that list!!

Also thats 8 fights, remove witter from that list, so basically its Purdy, Bailey, maidana and Urango. Not 1 top 5 guy in about 4 years while losing to 3 guys in that span

Tough sell but the question is "Does Devon deserve a Mayweather fight?"

And the answer is undoubtedly YES!

This has nothing to do with his style, marketability, how much it will sell, etc.

He is more qualified than many previous Mayweather opponents.
