RJ did exactly what you said Floyd is doing. You say Floyd cherry picked and fought Oscar-Cotto at 154 but not the other guys. RJ fought Ruiz and didnt fight any of the other dominant HW's

To me, Roy challenging for a HW title is the same as Mayweather challenging for a MW title. I can't compare them as Mayweather didn't try it, but I wouldn't care which title he went for as him simply fighting at 160 would demand my respect. A Mayweather fight where there's actually a big challenge for him there. Only others I can think of recently are May-Pacquiao, May-Canelo, from the top of my head. I'm hoping the latter doesn't follow the former. Never really said Floyd cherry picked Oscar and Cotto, just said he hasn't spent enough time in a division he's clearly capable of campaigning in, as he's been there twice.

Didn't Mayweather start fighting at 126lbs.? He's fought in six divisions, he already went up to 154 and 160 is too much, sure all the fans would like to see him be in a more competitive boxing match, including myself, but in the end he's too good for anybody and everybody, at the end of the day health matters more than anything, especially more than boxing fans...........I would love to see him fight Pacquiao tho

For him to go down as the greatest he would have to beat PAC and mattysse at 147 Canelo 154, then Martinez and GGG at 160.
That would be a fooken run right there and it's not an impossible feat. If he were to lose one or two of those he still goes out as a op ten I would say.
But he is going to go the usual safe route and fight the likes of Cotto again, Alexander, Bradley, then maybe rios or Alvarado.

Doesn't excuse the ignorance in saying "Mayweather wouldn't last 5 rounds with Leonard" to knock Floyd, when one there is absolutely no shame in losing to one of the greatest WWs of all time in your 4th weight class, gonna repeat that again, 4th weight class. Champs and ex-champs who were past their prime. Do your research, on, say, Sugar Ray Robinson. Take a look at who he fought, WHEN he fought them, and actually be thorough... IOW look at the opponent's record. Your fan boy wet dream Floydie just blatantly ducked Canelo... won't fight him unless he's weight drained.
