I hope Lucas can ko Peterson than take out the hype job Danny Garcia that's a fight I think alotta of us would like. If he's not gonna fight at 154
Why are you people so hateful and selfish? Hate is a terrible thing, it causes people to lose perspective and all sense of reality in order to justify bringing someone down with negativity. Mayweather has 44 fights on his resume. If you aren't aware of how good he is by now then you never will be. Stop acting as if just because Mayweather makes his fights look easy that his opponents are bums. He tests his skills against serious opposition in every fight. You thinking that there is no one at 40&47 that can test him his a testament to how good he is. That is something that should be appreciated, not used as justification to hate. If he chooses to go back up to 54 and fight Alvarez or anybody else then that's cool, but if he doesn't then that should be cool too. All this "he should go up and campaign at 54" talk is nonsense though. He's clearly not at his best at 54.

Anyway, nice of you to admit Cotto was a cherrypick at 154, as far as belts were concerned. You coulda done so any time in the past 12 months Forgot I guess, like Floyd forgot to drop that 154 belt.

Now I'm confused. Mayweather was supposedly stripped of his WBA 154 Title. Why he is still listed as the titleholder is beyond me, but he was stripped prior to fighting the Ghost.

Then again, this may be a way to have two 154 pound champions fight under their own sactioning body. If two fighters fight each other with their titles on the line for the same exact sactioning body, that's twice the money right?

Or how poor the division is.

That wouldn't be cool, that would be disappointing.

This is so ******. Either he is or he isn't. And all these different titles is so confusing. I was young, but I don't remember all of this crap back when Sugar Ray, Hagler, Hearns, etc. those guys were fighting. Did boxers sign with HBO and/or Showtime back then where they could not fight each other because of the different cable stations? I know there were not all these different titles that mean the exact same thing. WBA champion, champion in recess, super champion, etc.

I like the different sactioning bodies, I just don't like how many champions that they have at one weight class. I'm all for unifying all of the titles also. I think that if HBO has a fighter and Showtime has a fighter, if they want to fight, then let the public choose what station that they want to watch. Some will watch one or the other because of the announcers, while others will be based on which station they have a subscription on. Me personally, I would watch it live on one network while having it recorded on the other network so I can see what they say.

Anyone not wanting Mayweather vs the best at 154 should be ashamed. You're a paying customer, a fight fan. You're not his grandma, he's not going to buy you a house.

He's only allowed to fight guys at 154-160 who are way bigger than him in the ring and naturally. Not only that but he wont get any extra credit for doing it. Its mandatory that he fights Canelo. Its just an average fight and a fight he should take or he's a coward.

You cant have that. It has to be fair. If you want him to fight them then fine but you better be ready to bow down and give mad credit if he wins because its extroidanary for him to beat a very good fighter who is nearly 25 pounds bigger than him that night and more than that natrually. Thats not a regular fight no matter how anyone wants to spin it
Now you know people do not care about 25 lb, they just want Floyd to lose no matter what. i do not like some thing he do outside the ring but if you can not respect what he do in the ring. Then you are not a boxing fan, you are a people fan.

so ure justifying him fighting Robert Guerrero a fight that nobody wanted in the first place. All I know is I'm not buying another ppv of Floyd's unless its him against canelo, PAC man Martinez somebody thats a serious threat and if ure fine with paying 70 dollars to see him against Alexander or khan that's you. Sugar ray Leonard fought Duran, hagler and hearns. He didn't shy away from the biggest fight in his career like floyd did manny. That's why he gets hated on.

Floyd needs to fully test himself and he hasn't done so since Castillo 2 and that was what? Ten years ago? Damn shame. The sad thing is that his minyons will argue to the death calling him an all time great based on skill alone no resume who u fight when u fight them means a lot.
