How about Canelo drop to 147 instead since he is calling Floyd out? 150lbs vs potentially 165+ lbs is obviously a distinct size advantage for the heavier guy and I commend Floyd for not doing a catch weight which is Pac's M.O. Floyd gets the money regardless so that nullifies your logic, as for legacy, Canelo does nothing at this point for Floyd's legacy. Canelo is a younger, strong, bigger foe that the Floyd haters are hopefully can defeat Floyd to satisfy their dislike of him. I dont hear much about Canelo vs Sergio....

When a fighter claims to be the Greatest of All TIME there are things
"EXPECTED" of him "IF" he is being serious.

1. You don't avoid threats you seek them out !

2. You don't vacate the property when an elite is ready for you and retire from boxing you go take the challenge.

for instance take the Greatest that ever laced up gloves, in my opinion, he sought out threats, he called them out,

I can't think of any three fighters that posed greater threats than these.

I can't think of one that Challenge Ali that he didn't fight, it was more if not conclusively Ali on the hunt for any challenge.

3. May Jr has the skills to whup the average to better fighter but there are holes in his armor:
