Stop bashing Guerrero he was the nr1 contender.I also agree that Floyd is a chrrypicker of eassy opponents but Guerrero deserved his title shot.
      Canelo should be next!!!

And theres a reason why HBO dropped GBP and its because they were losing money (Maidana Morales PPV, BHop-Dawson PPV etc)

SHO/CBS just learned the same lesson the hard way

The only way for showtime to get a return on their investment is for FLoyd to fight Pac lol

This is true. I'm a Floyd fan and did order the fight but I was never excited for this matchup. The Ghost has always been a average fighter at best to me and I knew the only way he could compete with Floyd is if Floyd's jail stay and father time caught up with him.

Well when Showtime is banking on the ppv to go over a million... yes it was unsuccessful.

If the ppv buys dont break even with the guarantee then it will eat into Showtime sports budget and future fights.

Like I posted in the other thread, who was really expecting a mil or more? They even had to comp tickets.

Just because u said "inb4" doesn't mean it isn't true, it was Robert Guerrero man. A solid fighter who lets face it isn't well known and is hard to get excited about even if u do know em!

Atleast they got God's ppv buy. That's the one that matters. Shame he lost money on the fight though.

I wouldn't be surprised if it did in the 800k-1kk range. I'll just wait for the official numbers though. We go through this after every Floyd fight. Remember the Ortiz 350k from Steve Kim? Like clockwork, massive circle jerks about the PPV being a failure every time.
