And theres a reason why HBO dropped GBP and its because they were losing money (Maidana Morales PPV, BHop-Dawson PPV etc)

SHO/CBS just learned the same lesson the hard way
Al Haymon is the reason. Golden boy bows to him because they are inexperienced promoters, Bob Arum even said it that Richard and Oscar have no skill as promoters so they get their advice from the Harvard grad and concert promoter Al Haymon.

Haymon is the same guy who milked HBO with crappy fights promising them he would put Berto in with a much better opponent. Berto was making 1 million dollars on HBO and he has no fanbase only 400 people bought his tickets.

HBO wasn't going to have that crap anymore. So Richard went to Showtime since Oscars former lawyer Espinoaz runs the show there now.

These dudes took a huge loss, they are desperate for a superstar that they are willing to over pay Floyd.

If anyone has to blame for Floyds greed and Ego its Golden Boy and Richard Shaeffer for overpaying him, no wonder he won't fight for less.

Apparently there was a stipulation in the initial contract that Showtime made with Floyd that he is guaranteed 32 million regardless of opponent. That was one of the issues that pushed HBO away

HBO is wise not to agree to a ridiculous contract, but we all know who wrote that contract up Al Haymon he gets a large portion of money.

He gives Floyd Allowance each month.

Cherrypicker shouldn't have pissed off the ginger... if the ginger was on the undercard, there would've been a lot more buys

Floyd left the MGM with a guaranteed $32million check.
I don't think he lost any sleep.

After all is said and done....800-1million ppv buys against Guerrero is pretty damn
                    good.

                    Canelo fight would do 1.5-1.7
