I understood Rigo's skills going into the fight, but NO ONE was expecting this one sided schooling.

There's no way you thought Rigo was winning damn near every round.

I am on record predicting a schooling by Rigondeaux several times.

Donaire will win by KO inside 3, or Rigondeaux will put on a dominating performance.

I don't think Donaire would be able to win a legitimate decision.

Id give Donaire close to 0% chance of winning by decision. If it goes to the cards, it will be Rigo who took Donaire to school.

Donaire would need to win this fight by knockout, which is doable as Rigo obviously doesn't have the hardest chin in the world.

Rigo can crack like a mule as a well though. Id still give Donaire a bigger chance at stopping Rigo than I would Rigo stopping Donaire.

I still think Rigo wins this.

That's fair enough. I'm just mad at people that are downplaying this win. I don't think a lot of posters are grasping the magnitude of this win yet. I honestly don't.

Mind you, I was rooting HARD for Donaire. I don't ever jump on a bandwagon, unless they're the truth, and nothing but the truth.

It is possible to realize that the win is monument, that Donaire is a GREAT fighter and supremely skilled, but also to know that Rigondeaux is THAT good that he would completely outclass and dismantle him.

The numbers don't lie, as Mayweather would say. He connects at a higher percentage and the connect percentage against him is lower, even though his punch output is higher and he has fought better opposition on average.

If you're looking for specifics though, Mayweather is better at inside fighting, combination punching, not unnecessarily expending energy by relying primarily on foot movement, thus making it look as if he is running, I could go on but I won't because the truth is in the numbers to be honest.
