I'll say it... Guillermo Rigondeaux is probaby the most skilled boxer of all time.

Mayweather never got touched by a shot in his younger days either.

Also, Donaire doesn't belong in HOF. What has he done to deserve that? Toney should be in the HOF before Donaire.
Speed, and defense go to Rigo hands down. Are you on drugs boy?

A thought that sprung to my mind though is that Rigo could be the most skilled fighter currently active. He wouldn't be number 1 pound for pound as he will have to beat more good fighters for that, but from what we saw last night how he absolutely clowned Donaire i think he is skill wise up there.

He may be just as good as Ward, Martinez and Floyd. He just needs to prove it.

I'm definitely a fan. Such sick defense and oh my god at that foot and handspeed.

Is it out of the question Bob Arum would let him fight Mikey Garcia?

I wish he could go to GBP and fight Mares, but that's probably unrealistic.

I'll say this.. for such an "uneventful" fight i was mesmerized by this Cuban the entire time. Kind of how i sometimes react to a Floyd fight.
He has to prove it? Beating Donaire wasn't good enough for you? When he beats one dimensional Mares, then you guys will just say, he beat a come forward slugger.

Mares has the courage and possibly the chin, but if Rigo is on his game like he usually is, he will hurt Mares with shots badly. Mares is no big guy like Nonito either.
They still don't get this. They think you have to fight like Lamont Pederson's limited ass in order to prove your inside game.

And not just The Ring had Corrales in the Top 5 P4P. Every single list you could find had Corrales in the Top 5 P4P, if not Top 5, top 10.

Back then, Corrales was the epitome of P4P Material. He was destroying absolutely everyone in his way.

Hindsight is 20-20 but it doesn't change how highly he was regarded at that point.
Exactly, he was #1 in the division Floyd #2, like Rigo-Donaire. He was higher P4P than floyd... like rigo- donaire.... and Floyd mopped the floor with him... to say its incomparable at the time, you have to grasp at straws.

First off mayweather at 130 was faster and had better defense than Rigo even with the weight difference. Even now at the end of floyds career hes still faster than his opposition, and has insane defensive ability and stats. Rigo doesn't have the defense of floyd, its not even comparable because its totally different styles, Floyd can make you miss by not darting around the ring. Rigo ran around the ring and didn't let Donaire get shots off. It's two different styles.

No drugs. You're on those nuts though. Swinging wildly. Floyd was quicker and better defensively. Like I said. No one tagged Floyd in his younger pro days. His accuracy was also better than Rigo's.

You just jumped the bandwagon, it's okay, I get it.

Floyd wasn't quicker at all. Use your eyes buddy. I've seen him get tagged plenty of times.

No one's jumping on a bandwagon. I'm calling it how I see it. You're the one that can't let the myth of Floyd go. He looked spectacular against past prime opponents, and now you Floyd fans are trying to pump up Corrales like he's on Donaire's level.

                  It's quite transparent.
