It's like Haye vs Wlad. Haye wanted it so much, but he just couldn't do it.

My apologies, I had to drive home from work. If you had beat me though you would have explained how Lewis ducked a rematch after I had already proven he wanted to retire before beating up and stopping Vittles.

What kind of man digs something like that up and still avoids the point? Sad.

You haven't proven anything with your arab news links, you ****.

We just agreed that it's what Lewis actually did that mattered.

And he told Larry he would definitely give the rematch to Vitali....

Prove its not a credible source and I'll retract everything. Seems kind of weird anyone would make that up though before Lewis and Vittles even fought, doesn't it? Why would ANY journalist do that?

Well who knows man, maybe Lennox was just confused or undecisive as to whether he should hang em up. I think that's likely.

As I said yesterday, I respect his decision not to rematch, but it was a clear duck, and that's also part of his legacy in many people's eyes.

                    It is what it is.

Prime Tyson would be real trouble for Wlad, I agree on that, but Holyfield, no. Wlad would jab him down and KO him, like Bowe did in their third fight. Wlad wouldn't brawl with him, but put him to sleep, classic steelhammer style.
By the time Holyfield got to the 3rd Bowe fight he'd already been through wars with several guys much bigger and harder hitting than him. It's only natural that he would have lost something by then, 5hit, the wars he had at CW would have taken something out of him, let alone taking on Mercer, Foreman and Bowe x3.

Prime Holyfield beats prime Wlad imo. I don't think he'd wipe the floor with him like some have said, as Wlad is fast for a big dude and it might take a few rounds for Holyfield to chase him down and start roughing him up, but I'd pick a TKO in 8-10 rounds.

Wlad's holding tactics will go straight out the window the first time Holyfield headbutts him, and as he can't fight on the back foot and his inside game is literally non existent, he just won't be able to stop the pressure.
