I think Canelo will win, neither have proven anything to be honest so it'll be a good test for both. I'm just not sold on trout and confused on all the hype surrounding him for beating Cotto. Floyd moved up in weight got 0 credit for doing it, Trout is a natural 154 lber and gets mounds of credit. Sure alvarez has been fighting little guys too, but he doesn't get the credit either.

Canelo has shown he has a fairly wide arsenal at his disposal. Only thing he doesn't do that well, is move his head, which would be a problem if Trout was a big puncher. He's not though so we'll see how that plays out. Cotto was giving a good fight until he got tired, I can see canelo losing some steam but not like Cotto did.

Canelo UD 8-4. That's my predicition...with one scorecard being absurd and everyone saying it's robbery.

The problem with most of the division's is its just that.... all hype very little substance... kind of disappointing.

Well to Canelo fans everything, to Trout fans nothing....the same if it's the opposite. That's board specific though (and wont happen, tunes will change) ... generally if Trout schools Canelo in the media it'll be huge. Not as much the other way around, though Canelos hype will increase I don't see it having as big an impact.

That being said though, the best thing for them is a close hard fought battle, sure some will cry robbery either way, but someone always does. It'd boost both their popularity and we'd start to see bigger fights... unlikely but it could happen.

You think Canelo gets Floyd if he beats Trout?

Lederman knows boxing. Pretty accurate prediction, as the days approach I'm honestly concered about Trout's life. Canelo is coming to deliver some bloody family vengeance on an Oldboy level.
