I find it amazing though, that guys would want the pampered spoon fed fighter to win. While wishing the destruction of the fighter that actually had to earn his shot. Shows how severely deluded the boxing fan has become, as far as I'm concerned.
I think the HBO guys (and GBP) believe strongly that Trout has a real problem making 154 for this fight and the extra effort will be problematic. I mean people are giving Trout virtually no chance. Canelo and his team are talking more about september than two weeks from now.

Trout is a very good boxer who I think can win this fight. But almost everyone thinks hes getting beaten easy.

As a guy posted earlier in this thread, "earlier in his career, before 90% of the people on here knew who he was, before Golden Boy was his promoter (I'm talking 4 years ago, or so)...He was only 18 years old then, and he was taking on the likes of Larry Mosley (former USA amateur standout), Cuello (a solid fighter who gave JCC Jr. hell), and Michel Rosado. And he beat them all. He actually beat Larry Mosley in the USA, too, not in Mexico!"

This is when I started following him as well. Sure he took some gimmie fights, who wouldn't? We all know he tried to take on Ortiz, Williams and Angulo - it didn't happen, so now he is taking on Trout. This even after his promoters begged him not to fight him. He knew it was the right thing to do and most dangerous fight he could of taken. And you say how can we support somebody like this? How can you not?
      ^^^ This exactly ^^^

Destroy? He MIGHT win but there won't be no destroying. Guaranteed.

I'm actually looking to bet with anyone Canelo doesnt KO Trout. PM me.

From what I've seen it's been split, most boxing heads on my Youtube subscription are picking Trout too.

I can see either guy winning, but I don't think either "destroys" the other let alone Canelo who's clearly facing the toughest challenge of his career. Trout may be as well, but he got a hell of a test prior with Cotto in MSG. That alone says a lot going into this fight.

Trout will make Canelo look average and win a decision but gets robbed

It'll be a good fight, but no where near FOTY type of fight. Not with Trout's style.

Thats the way I see it going down....I said earlier Trout would win the decision, but I suspect your predicition is the likely outcome the more I think of it....

Silly opinion. Trout makes Canelo look average yet Canelo wins the decision. If you make someone look average it means it's a mismatch. You don't need judges on mismatches. Even a four year old kid could determine who won such fight. Silly, silly, silly....

I think Canelo will win, neither have proven anything to be honest so it'll be a good test for both. I'm just not sold on trout and confused on all the hype surrounding him for beating Cotto. Floyd moved up in weight got 0 credit for doing it, Trout is a natural 154 lber and gets mounds of credit. Sure alvarez has been fighting little guys too, but he doesn't get the credit either.

Canelo has shown he has a fairly wide arsenal at his disposal. Only thing he doesn't do that well, is move his head, which would be a problem if Trout was a big puncher. He's not though so we'll see how that plays out. Cotto was giving a good fight until he got tired, I can see canelo losing some steam but not like Cotto did.

Canelo UD 8-4. That's my predicition...with one scorecard being absurd and everyone saying it's robbery.
