Why don't fans make Andre Ward a draw?

I follow boxing,period.Love it. If it's on tv,I'm watching it or its tevo'd for when I get out of work. If I can go to arena for good fights,I go.Ward only fights in CA. I live on East Coast of U.S. Take some fights in Europe,A.C., and Vegas.Ward will be a huge draw. He is starting to become good draw as it is in CA. A rematch with Froch again in A.C. or Vegas would help. Sergio at MW in Vegas ??? Easy match to make as Lou D lets his guys fight and Gossen does too. If Ward can make MW at 160 lbs....HUGE FIGHT with Sergio in Vegas. Kessler if he wins in Denmark ??? B-hop in A.C. ? I think he fiought Froch in A.C. before the Brits and everyone else knew how good the Cobra really is. I think that the US is really warming to Ward too and seeing how freaking good he really is.

I can dig it. I watch everything, (stream ppv's though)!! But if it's televised I'm seeing it, God willing!!

Like I said, you're wrong. You don't know what you're talking about. How bout this, I'll bet you all your points to all my points That I didn't praise Ward for his vitory over Dawsonb & I did in fact say Dawson was drained. If your excuse is you can't find them, I'll find them for you.

And if you talked crap about Ward fighting at Dawson at 168, I must have missed it. Because all I saw after the fight was not specific praising of Ward beating Dawson, but specific praising on how he's the best fighter and people are finally coming around, etc.

I said I don't recall you praising him specifically on the Dawson win, but I don't recall you getting on him the way you did Manny for god knows how long for fighting Cotto at 145.

What's your take on Ward not moving up in weight to fight Dawson....is it a cherry pick??? What is it???

So if Floyd fought Sergio at 150, since Sergio has mentioned 150, you'd be alright with that???

The fact is Ward SHOULD HAVE went to 175 to fight Dawson, if he wanted that win to look better. A certain someone you label cherry picker would have went up in weight to get that win. It's time for Ward to travel to 175, he's already 29.

It's a double standard. Manny didn't fight Cotto at his best weight at the time, 147. He made him come down 2 lbs. Ward didn't fight Dawson at his best weight, 175. He made him come down 7 lbs and wouldn't even accept a CW that was being offered for them to meet in the middle.

Than he proceeds to call out Floyd at 160, but doesn't say he'll drop any weight to fight Martinez. I really like Andre Ward, but since the Dawson thing when he decided not to go up in weight, and since saying he'd drop to 160 for Floyd, but not drop any weight for Sergio......it's rubbed me the wrong way to be honest....."dude".

I find it terribly fascinating how he ignored you pointing out Ward coming down to 160 for Floyd...but not for Sergio or meeting halfway for Dawson...also funny how you asked him if he's okay with Floyd fighting Sergio at 150..since Sergio said he would..similar to the Ward/Dawson fiasco....instead of responding to those logical points...he wants to make a bet..what a joke!..

He needs to move up to 175 and fight in a weight class that has some relivance not some "junior weight class" its all BS! Get rid of all the junior divisions, total BS created by the promotors to add more title fights! If you weigh 168 you can weigh 173 and be a LtHvy! Ray

Whats my take on Ward accepting Dawson's challenge to come down to 168?? Not much. If Dawson was dumb enough to do it, why should Ward not let him??

Dawson calling out Ward & offering his a$$ at 168, is not the same as Cotto being forced to fight Pacman at 145. Which is why I don't hold it against ward for Dawson's ******ity. You cannot compare the situation, no matter how much you try.

You clearly haven't read whats been going on. I spoke on Ward coming to 160 for Floyd. I spoke on Floyd/Martinez as well. The joke is on you.

You wanna fight little Floyd at 160 but not the middle weight King Martinez at 160? How about Julio Chavez???

I know people will order Martinez Vs Ward on PPV without any issues. Either way you put it, Ward makes more money fighting Martinez at 160 than he does fighting Dawson and other fighters.

So if it's not the money, is it the risk???
