Why don't fans make Andre Ward a draw?

Seeing that fans on Boxing-Scene seem to love Ward, they say he's respectful, a gentlemen, and fights great competition...

Why watch these duckers, coward, cherry pickers (AS YOU CALL THEM)
on PPV you get together with a party for the fight, movies, arena tickets..watching there shows on HBO and SHOWTIME and give them TV ratings.

Does anyone see what I'm getting at here?? You are filled with disgust for Mayweather and Broner type fighters, but you still watch them??

Because it is sad, Dude is Number 2 P4P and alot of fighters are more popular than Ward.

Dawson had also been saying for some time that 168 wasnt a problem and that he intended to go there at some point, and this was over a year before that fight got made.

I agree with you, but his undefeated record also captured the audience... the whole "can he be beaten" schtick majorly assisted in his drawing power... but yes, people do feel some way about him.

but an undefeated record is almost a negative these days. floyd gets crap for it. calzaghe. canelo. ward needs someone who is out there touting it so fans can react one way or another.

the worst thing in sports and entertaionment is to be someone who doesn't illicit a response form the crowd.

if ward lost-even though he hasn't in dozens of years-very few would care. now if floyd lost, when manny lost after 10 years-NSB shutsdown. undertaker loses at wrestlemania-big news.

ward needs to make his record and streak work for him.

I wouldn't say it's a negative, especially in Wards case... If it's a negative, it's because they're undefeated because they haven't fought anyone... i.e. Broner less Demarco.

I'm telling you, if he stays undefeated long enough, his aura will grow.. I'm not saying Floyd stature, he'll never sell 2M ppvs... but it WILL grow..
