Rigo, 11 fights, 2 trouble against mediocre opponents.

JMM, 50+ fight. Got hit, Got KD, still fight but not run! against HOFamers ATGs & Champs.

    Not comparable!

    BTW Tito was Chinnny!

Nope I didn't said that! I just say that Donaire will KO Rigo!

He may of beat Mathebula convincingly on your scorecard and the paid off judges but he didn't to anybody who knows how to score a fight. I actually p1ssed myself at how the reasoning for Donaire winning just about every round given was and I quote ''Donaires punches were equal to about 5 or 6 of Mathebulas''
He had to outland Donaire at a 6-1+ ratio to be given a round

I had Pacquaio beating Marquez in the third fight 120-108 why? He threw the faster punches!

Donaire looked like a boring coward in Concepcion fight. He did 6 laps of the ring for every punch he threw.

Rigondeaux takes a fight on very short notice, he gets hit twice over a 12 round period against a good, big contender who was a very good amateur, he wins just about every second of every round & drops the kid, twice = HYPEJOB! HE GOT EXPOSED!

Donaire cherrypicks a fat, out of shape midget journeyman with a 13-3-1 record and is left running for his life = P4P SUPERSTAR! UNBEATABLE IN THE LOWER WEIGHTS.

You'll understand why I said that and you will no longer be blinded. You'll see what I've always seen in Rigondeaux.

If Rigondeaux was a black American he would be hailed as the second coming of Pernell Whitaker!

Go study his footwork, his reflexes, his defense, speed, accuracy, timing, counterpunching ability you'll realise what I said is true.

I don't have to tell you his achievements, they speak for themselves.
While I don't think he beats Donaire at this point Rigo certainly looks to be the goods and could very well turn out to be a future great. He's an incredible talent at this point and hopefully his career progresses and his potential is fulfilled. If he does beat Donaire not only will I pay you the e-points, congratulate you on your pick, but I will jump right on the bandwagon and sing his praises which I would normally reserve for a more experienced fighter. Win or lose I hope this kid goes places.

I think this is a close fight and in my head ive flip flopped loads about who to pick.

Right now i think that Rigondeaux will take this. Firstly i dont believe Donaire is as good against when he is forced to lead (which he will be), and also the elusiveness of Rigo is something that Donaire hasn't had to deal with to the level that Rigo will bring. One thing is for sure, Donaire will not be catching Rigo off of lazy right hands (Montiel) or from rushing in (Darchinyan), he is going to have be much smarter to land the bingo punch.

Other than the KO it i think Donaire best chance is to outwork Rigondeaux, who can become complacent in fights. However Rigo's style definitely does not lend itself to high activity due to his hard counter punching style.

In terms of ability i completely agree with Dan that Rigo is a special fighter, his Am achievements and the speed he's progressed as a pro are evidence of that. If he had been a pro his whole career i have no doubt he would have been up there in the p4p discussions.

I'm obviously not comparing resumes, and yes, JMM has been downed against great fighters, but the point is that you wouldn't call him chinny just because he's been down a few times. Roberto Duran was KOed brutally once in his legendary carreer. Was he chinny and JMM not?

Anyway, if you call "Tito" chinny, then I'll accept that you call Rigo chinny. I'll take that.

People are to quick to jump on this kids chin. Lets see how his career unfolds. Kernel Whitaker was depose in his 9th fight and his chin and career turned out to be great. This might not happen with Rigo, but its just to early to tell.

8.50 in that video, Donaire got knocked down by a jab. Would like to see a replay of that from another angle tbh

That would be quite funny considering Donaire fans like to constantly bring up Rigo getting caught off balance by a jab & touching down.
