Rigondeaux is an exceptional, superb, A+ once in a lifetime fighter. Lol.

That would be quite funny considering Donaire fans like to constantly bring up Rigo getting caught off balance by a jab & touching down.
lmao that was a slip..you can see that no punch even connected.

plus donaire's chin has already been tested by HARDER punchers. so to even suggest donaire has a soft chin is just silly.

Donaire cherrypicks a fat, out of shape midget journeyman with a 13-3-1 record and is left running for his life = P4P SUPERSTAR! UNBEATABLE IN THE LOWER WEIGHTS.

Fernando Montiel knocked out Rafael Concepcion within 3 rounds in an easy fight who give Donaire trouble. I was rooting for Cochulito hard but the left hooked happen.

Rigo go up to 126 and fight Mikey. Rigo is just a 1 weight division champ that gotta belt from Rico Ramos.
rigo is too small for 126 his walkaround weight is 130 at the most , i think if anything he should move to 118 or stay at 122

It was one weight class & he hardly won it comfortably!
What Pass? Donaire was Dancing & got tripped moving backwards! Rigo was Moving forward and got met by a weak jab & touched the canvas!

As far as I know, Rigo fought all his opponent at their weights! Donaire still fought concepcion even if he weight 119 1/2. Super fly was 115, Bantam was 118, Rafa still over that! that 2 wt classes! Fact!

And who won that fight?? Donaire win it comfortably!

Just look at Video of that Donaire lone loss, I havent seen it, I heard the guy his fighting was 16 lbs bigger. I wanna see it!

With your earlier post, you said Donaire "wasn't even hurt," yet you go on about how Rigo was knocked down by the Cordoba jab. You're somehow implying that Nonito wasn't hurt but Guillermo was. Get your pictures straight.

I had to watch that moment several times. It looks like the punch connected, but it's possible it was just the angle.

                  • I think Rigondeaux is a good fighter. Overrated by some, underrated by some.

He's not a hype job to the level some claim, albeit he is utterly unproven.

But I don't rate him as highly as others, the people who rate him highly consider it to be his skill level, his ability. I don't think his ability is as good as people see.

He's fast, has power, speed, and is a good crisp counter puncher but he's not very versatile IMO. He doesn't have an inside game from what I've seen and he only really fights at one pace.

If Donaire beats him, which, I think he will. It won't be by putting him under pressure.

I want to see a top fighter put him under pressure and see how he deals with that. Someone like Mares or a prime Vic would have been ideal.

                    • lol this is insane...we've seen some crazy fanbases before but at least they're following a legit accomplished boxing superstar.

these rigo fans are already hyping him up for something we haven't seen him done in the pros. at least wait for him to do something significant before putting a label on him. these idiots are taking fanaticism to a new embarassing level.
