Cloud was awful and this was a very boring fight.

This fight was entertaining. I had it in mute so I didn't hear what the ****** HBO crew thought of the fight or what the fans in the arena thought of the action. I watched the fight peacefully with a couple of cups of water and watched as Hopkins schooled yet another favored champion.

Exactly and 48 at that. Hopkins does so many subtle things in the ring that its easy to say oh well this opponent sucks or whatever but while you're saying that you're missing the details.

No Hop is not fun to watch at all. I respect his game but I want to see someone just knock him the **** out.
Do you think he wasn't trying? It's not that easy. Hopkins moves when you try making it pointless plus he counters you. I don't think you understand boxing

They actually seemed quite entertained and were marveling over what they were witnessing. Now if Larry was there I'm sure he'd be *****ing!

If you're the fan that prefers the Rios-Alvarado mindless brawling style of fighting, then I gotta ask; what the hell were you doing watching a B-Hop fight in the first place.
lol I hated that fight not sure why everyone loved it so much. Guerrero-Berto was better than rios-alvarado lol

That's a bit ignorant. Seems like you just want brutal flailing like that guy said lol^

Hopkins certainly has those qualties and unquestionably does that to opponents, top opponents, legit opponents, and even great opponents like Trinidad.

But in this case, Cloud does just "suck".

Ya I agree. Even though he won he's clearly not what he was even 5 years ago. The Hopkins that beat Tarver would beat anybody. He does have off nights but now you can see he's just plain old.

                  Ah the beauty of hindsight....

Hopkins is an awkward opponent. I guess Cloud wasn't prepared for what Hopkins was bringing. Have to give him props for taking the fight though, he didn't have to fight Hopkins.

As for people saying oh his career is ended, you're part of the group of folks who put so much on a loss, when in reality, he has many options. He lost his last two fights, so what? He's a professional fighter, he'll have ups and downs in his career. Pisses me off when ppl say dumb things like this. Folks like you add to the fabrication of the '0', making people dodge fights just to stay undefeated.

Maybe Cloud could pursue a Cleverly fight? Hopkins was given another title shot after losing his title, I don't see why the same can't happen to Cloud. Or a Cloud-Pascal fight, would be a war.

I've been a fan of Cloud for years and he certainly doesn't suck. He's a tough fight for anyone. Even Campillo was rocked and dropped and had to outwork Cloud while using ton of movement, i.e not an easy fight.
