Cloud was awful and this was a very boring fight.

That's actually impressive on both sides. Cloud for actually staying active, pretty much what he always throws in every fight, according to CB, and Hopkins for still schooling him even in failing to drop his workrate like he always does to every opponent.

Everyone likes a brawl but it wasn't that what was disappointing, it was Clouds acceptance of losing. He could have stepped up the pace and really gone for it but didn't

Said this before the fight that Cloud was tailor made for Hopkins. Hopkins had enough left in the tank to outclass Cloud.

Cloud's workrate, if CB is accurate, shows that he was not awful at all and he was the same 600-700 punch throwing guy we've always seen. That's pretty much what he threw against Campillo, Johnson, and Woods. The difference here was not that Cloud was awful, he was just facing a completely different caliber of fighter and could not hurt/drop him like he did to the aforementioned fighters.

Yes Hop is a legend but most of his fights are just boring. I want to see him against someone who actually comes to fight with a great work rate, pressure and set a high pace. This was a f_ucking terrible slow pace fight just like Hop wanted. Cloud should really be ashamed of himself.
So you don't like watching Hopkins fight, you know he dominates brawlers, yet you STILL watched this fight. You have no right to complain. It's like watching a Michael Bay flick and complaining that the acting and story ******.

Yeah but as mentioned this is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. And inappropriate to talk about on Post-fight night. Especially since you can't qualify it. After all, who are you and who gives a **** about your personal tastes? Right?
Why is it inappropriate? If you don't give a damn about what I think why are in this thread responding to all of my posts? Are you related to Hop cause you take this very personal?

Ok so save yourself the trouble and don't watch his fights anymore. Clearly you had some hopes of seeing him lose and it bothered the hell out of you that he refused to give to you. You didn't just develop these feelings overnight as he has had far more "boring" fights before.

I wanted Cloud to make this entertaing but he failed big time and it became another snoozefest created by Mr Hopkins. I feared the worst and it became a reality.

What he loves to do is irrelevant. They showed a highlight just before the fight, when he was unloading punches on a old Glen Johnson. That right there should've given you an idea, that there is no way Hopkins was gonna stand in front him like ol' Glen and be beaten up.

We all know how Hop likes to fight but I had hopes that Cloud could turn up the pace and not let Hop completely dictate the fight. Push him back punish him when he had him on the ropes and force Hop to trade with him....but even when he had him on the ropes Clöud still didn't let his hands go. I'm disappointed that he wasn't able to do a damn thing

No, it just further confirms what other performances (Mack, Campillo) showed us and that is that Cloud is awful.

Cloud is Jeff Lacy without the hype.

Vegas bookies had him a favorite.

I don't think Cloud beat Johson or Campillo.

Rocky Movies and Mike Tyson make boxing fans ******! They think Brawling is Boxing but yet most of the time these Brawlers get their A$$ Handed to them when they face True Skilled Boxers!
lol I love those kind of fights, like Martinez vs Chavez jr. But the occasional brawl can be good. As long as they are not both unskilled pillow fisters. That really irritates me when they both throw wide hooks only and nobody even gets stunned the whole fight lol.
