Cloud was awful and this was a very boring fight.

I expected him to try and outwork Hopkins too but he couldn't. He's a one dimensional fighter. Hopkins took away that one dimension and Cloud had no plan B, C or D because one-dimensional fighters can't adjust.

Even his corner was lost. They were actually telling him to throw wide looping punches. LOL

Ottke was a great boxer wasn't he? Do I respect his game? Of course. Do I think he was fun to watch? Just like with Hopkins my answer is NO.
Comparing him to Ottke is like apples and oranges. I think it's safe to say that B-Hop has done and shown a lot more in his prime and past his prime than Ottke ever did.

Why is it inappropriate? If you don't give a damn about what I think why are in this thread responding to all of my posts?

Because I enjoy coming in here after post-fight and changing the tide before it gets too big to contain/control. Whether it's a lot of "Hopkins is on steroids/PED's" or "Hopkins is boring" threads. Contain and control before it spreads.

I wanted Cloud to make this entertaing but he failed big time and it became another snoozefest created by Mr Hopkins.
Irrelevant. Tell me about a boring movie and I will show you what a great movie is.

We all know how Hop likes to fight but I had hopes that Cloud could turn up the pace and not let Hop completely dictate the fight. Push him back punish him when he had him on the ropes and force Hop to trade with him....but even when he had him on the ropes Clöud still didn't let his hands go. I'm dissapointed that he wasn't able to do a damn thing
That's ok. You didn't get it your way. But what is important to know is that it wasn't all Cloud that failed, it was Hopkins that made him fail and look like a corpse. It's his specialty.

Instead of being bitter, you should embrace a 48 year old for winning and keeping up with these youngsters, rather than being a spoiled brat about it because you didnt' get your "entertainment" tonight, maaaaaaah

Yes Hopkins was a 5/2 underdog over here in the UK. Only had a few quid on him though because i was skint.

              Which bookie was that?

He was 5/4 on most and 6/4 at very best from what I've seen.

Yeah, I thought that was odd advice as well. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to the corner men as they obviously know their fighter a lot better than I do, but that advice had me scratching my head.
