Did you ever suffer from a torn rotator cuff?

Lewis was full of promise he'd fight Vitali again, but he retired instead. He ducked the rematch he promised.

Lol, it was 9 more minutes against a natural super middleweight. Guess he just didn't have the heart to go on. And yes I've suffered a torn rotator cuff my senior year of high school in the state championship for football. I finished the game, but missed wrestling season because of it. Painful yes. But I guess it depends how bad you want it.

I know you object to showing any kind of evidence or giving links to things you claim happened but I'm Google to ask anyway. Can you show me a link or article where Lewis ever says "I promise" to rematch Vittles? You see fighters say lots of things directly after the heat of battle or in the aftermath because they exhausted but still filled with adrenaline. Can't put all you chickens in one basket based on that. Lennox said he was going to retire after one more super fight and did just that. You should be applauding him for retiring on top, past his prime against a big, young, prime fighter that would go on to have a pretty good career himself.

Much like Vitali said he would fight Haye after Chisora.

But they make up all kinds of excuses for that not happening!

Where's the love for Danny Williams who dislocated his shoulder and still won the fight?

Anyway, during the fight you can clearly see Lewis rubbing the laced up side of the glove against Vitali's cut over and over again. I think Lampley pointed it out if not during, then after the fight. So that tells me hebdidnt want anymore of Vitali and wanted the fight over ASAP. And then there was the ungodly uppercut he took that would have turned 99% of all fighters into a rock em sock em robot. I gave a lot of props to Vitali after that fight and became a fan.

However I would still only place him as maybe a HoF fighter, not an ATG in any stretch on the imagination.
Show me this clear footage you speak of.

Lewis had nothing to prove. He went to war with Vitali, as champ. It was a close fight and probably cemented in Lennox's mind that he post-prime. Just look at what he weighed in at...
