We all agree Wlad achieved much more, but it seems to me that you generally dislike Vitali more regardless of his achievements. Is it because of all this Lennox-Vitali discussions that are going on for years?
I don't dislike Vitaly. I just think his nuthugging fans overrate him and apply tons of double standards about his career such as Weinerschnitzel's saying Vits didn't need to rematch Byrd, but Lewis should have rematched him. I've been this route with Floyd fans, Pac fans, Trinidad fans etc. Difference is they actually fought other great fighters.

So presumably you don't have a problem with Wlad/Wlad fans - at least not in this amount?

You do, in fact terribly dislike Vitali. He's close to your own age and has achieved much more in life.

Get over yourself, you terrible little troll. Truth hurts!

Wlad has proven himself by beating the better fighters and staying on top for as long as he has. My only problem with him or his fans is I find him boring and think its a joke that people dismiss his losses to Sanders and Brewster when talking about his greatness. I've said it time and again that both brothers would be top fighters if not champions in any era. Is there any way I can keep it more real than that?

I see you ducked my post to instead turn to trolling again. Can't deal with the facts, can you double standard boy?

I used to really like Lewis until the Vitali fight. Which, you have to give him huge props for taking the fight in the first place. Name a list of fighters that would have jumped at the chance to take a short notice fight against Lennox Lewis. Anyway, during the fight you can clearly see Lewis rubbing the laced up side of the glove against Vitali's cut over and over again. I think Lampley pointed it out if not during, then after the fight. So that tells me hebdidnt want anymore of Vitali and wanted the fight over ASAP. And then there was the ungodly uppercut he took that would have turned 99% of all fighters into a rock em sock em robot. I gave a lot of props to Vitali after that fight and became a fan.

However I would still only place him as maybe a HoF fighter, not an ATG in any stretch on the imagination.

I see. My impression was that you have some 'special' treatment towards Vitali more than Wlad. But it's clear now.

I can't think of many unbeaten champions (actually apart from Marciano I can't think of any in HW).

I also do make a big difference between the two. Wlad is upper top10 and Vitali is top15-20 in my book.

He will never be considered an ATG because of the holes in his resume. Losing 4 years to injuries cost him the ability to accumulate the sheer numbers that might make up for the lack of quality.

However he's a top 10 ATG ass kicking machine no matter how you cut it. Very few fighters in history measure up to a prime and healthy Vitali in a head to head matchup.

                      Who's Joe?

Lewis had already planned on retiring. Do I really need to paste the link where he says he wants one more super fight with either Vitly-do or Roy Jones?
Still waiting for that reply to this Weiner.
