Ok, but that's going against your theory of his opposition, isn't it?

And he fought Rees because Burns ducked him.

135 as weak as it is, when the top guys don't want to fight you it's going to get worse and worse. Rees, as crazy as it is, was the highest ranked fighter available for Broner.

Broner: I'm still the can man! I will fight anybody they put in front of me! Anybody can get it!

Kellerman: So does that mean you'll fight the winner of Vasquez/Burns?

Broner: UUUHHHHH who's that? Were gonna go back to the drawing board with Al Haymon and goldenboy.

On another note, Broner needs to stop screaming when he throws punches.

        It's almost untolerable.

He tried to fioght Burns and Vazquez.

And Rees is a bum but he showed heart. Just a stay busy to keep him in the public eye. Most likely hes fighting 3 times this year. Burns-Vasquez winner included.
Yes, he has one pretty decent and top ranked fighter on his record.

          Only one though.

And, hopefully what you say comes to fruition.

I know that Broner has only been considered a top fighter for a relatively short time, in boxing terms. I won't denigrate his opposition level, on this basis. But, in consideration of the amount of hype and praise which is heaped on him, I'm simply reserving any kind of judgement of his worth, until he proves it in the ring. That's the same standard I have for every other fighter.

To tell you the truth I don't really see a lot of hype for him. Hes 23 and from the eye test hes no where near his peak.

His promoters are doing their jobs they offered Vazquez and Burns the fight. Both were turned down.

2013 is going to be a busy year for him. We'll see what hes made of soon.

                      Yep.

At least he doesn't punch with eyes closed though. Could be worse. I think his trainers should try to break that habit.
