Yeah I watched it a few minutes ago, thanks anyway.

Broner took over from the 3rd round onward. Rees is a tough little dude though.

No problem. Yeah, Rees did good in there. He really tried and was faster than I expected. He has nothing to be ashamed of.

Not here to hate on AB; he did what he had to do and that's get the W. Hard to criticize a guy when he stops his opponent midway through the bout. That said, this hype and talk about this dude "saving boxing" is insanity. Credit to a game but severely mismatched Gavin Rees, but f**k, Broner calling out dudes like Marquez & Pac...he would get prison ****d by either judging by his showcase last night.

He's got miles and miles (and more miles) to go before he gets anywhere close to how good he thinks he is in his mind.

Broner beat a decent lil guy in Rees but a guy who wasnt really a threat on any level. Is he as good as Mayweather? BEHAVE!!!

Helluva fighter though and it will take someone special to beat him. A guy like Lucus Mattysse would be a PROBLEM for The Problem...

Broner has a quality defence, its like Floyd's these days (not as good still) after he stopped using his legs. His chin seems solid and his power is exceptional, I'd favour him over Burns. Ricky has the size, 12 rounds experience, jab and grit to give him a serious test though.

he definitely wasn't used to fighting somebody that short. he was still at advantage, though, being the taller man by what looked like five inches.

rees did well in the first round. he's a tough guy, and he showed up to win. gary lockett is a hell of a trainer, evidently. he gave great advice, prepared rees well, and stopped the fight exactly when it needed to be stopped.

i gave broner the second, but i don't score fights generally the first time i watch them, unless i think they're going to scorecards. i watch to be entertained.
broner landed clean punches when rees was coming in from the second round on. rees was tough, but those were scoring and more importantly damaging blows.

broner looked very good. he showed a good chin, power, his agressiveness, and his defense was sharp after the first round. rees was underrated as a 80/1 dog. i was impressed with the little guy.

i will give more thoughts later on. nice little fight.

The first 2 rounds were throw aways! The guys shortness and low profile was a problem at first but he made the adjustments perfectly! This was a second tier fighter in with a guy with alot of skills, no match! You can't stay in England for years or Utah or any other isolated (protected) place and venture out to meet top tier guys. It doesn't work that way. The guy got a pay day he'll go home and fight an easy mark then retire. Once you try against the best you can't go backwards unless YOU become the stepping stone for the young blood coming up!
Life as a "professional opponent" is not an easy one!! Ray.

Broner may not be the best person but he sure can scrap. He made me a lot of dough last night. I bet Broner by KO in the 5th. Side note I also placed small amount on the 4th for the KO too.But the drinks were all on Adrian last night.

True but he fought a midget.

                      A midget.
