No question. He needs to stop it and soon.

If Matthysee was in the ring with him I don't think he'd be as comfortable.

Are you implying Burns has a glass chin? Because he really doesn't. Quite the opposite.
I think there are some question marks over Burns' chin at the elite level where he's gonna get hit more often and more accurately than he has in his fights since Martinez.

I don't give Burns a great chance against Broner. It'll probably be an interesting first half of a fight, but I can eventually see Burns getting walking down and the minute his back touches the ropes he's in trouble. He likes to cover up on the ropes in a way not too dissimilar than Khan has in the past, and Broner's no Katsidis or Lamont Peterson. When he opens up it's gonna be trouble for Burns.

I'd take Broner over Gamboa by stoppage. He could stop Burns, but I'd probably lean towards a decision. I haven't seen enough of Vazquez to have an opinion on that fight.

At 140 things are less clear. I think he has a good enough shot against anybody in that division, although it somewhat depends on how effective he can be going backwards, as he'll need to do that for long stretches against somebody like Matthysse.

DeMarco was bigger than him? Where? How? DeMarco is a fkin twig. How do you people measure size? Taller doesn't automatically mean bigger.
While I do agree with you, then whats all the hubaloo about Rees? I mean, we can do this circular dumbass argument, seeing as Rees weighed just as much as Broner on HBO's unoficial scale, and held a title at 140.

          I'm just saying....

You like the rest of the other people are conveniently forgetting to mention the 15 month layoff with 20 lbs put on overnight. Gamboa was already showing fatigue from like the 5th or 6th round which he never did. And like I said before, that was a perfect shot that would've KO'ed anyone on their best night.

The guy was a basic 1-2 fighter, easy to read yet he was able to land that shot, and that was at 130. Don't act like it doesn't mean anything when we're discussing a potential fight between Gamboa and a big, strong, skilled, powerful 135 lber. Like I said, I see Gamboa winning most of the rounds until het gets caught and stopped.

You're the one who compared Gamboa to Trinidad, he doesn't have the one-shot power of Tito and if he fights Broner he'd be fighting a guy who's bigger and hits harder, never happened to Tito in his prime.
and the power is irrelevant. tito doesn't have the hand speed. so again, what is your point? this is boxing, guys will get knocked down.

I could understand someone stating that Broner has played the ****head card in the boxing circle but that's merely marketing. That guy is a machine........with his style he can gain or lose weight yet be the same techniccal fighter. Some type of skill

I think Rees' arm lengths and height gave Broner a bit of surprise in the beginning.

i was impressed with Reese, he was very good tonight.
Bronner was just too good/strong for him.
