    Antonio Margarito>Robert Guerrero at WW

I don't even like Tony but this isn't debatable

I understand you and I think your shit is so damn flawed just cause you want to hype Mayweather up.

Just cause he beat Mosley coming off a long lay off and beating the great Baldo makes it better?

      Sure kid.
What had Cintron, Diaz, and Lewis done at WW prior to their fights with Margarito??? Nothing.

Aydin hasn't done anything either, but he was Top 10 like they were. Berto, though not really super great or anything, had at least beaten other Top 10 WW's before.

I'm just saying the opponents Margarito had beaten weren't any more proven or less proven at the time Guerrero beat those two Top 10 WW's. And I've yet to see anyone tell me how they were.

I'm not even trying to hype Mayweather-Guerrero, but it's a solid win over a top ranked WW. Just like Mayweather-Margarito would have been. Mayweather-Margarito wouldn't have been career defining either, it would have been a solid win at the time.

Margarito was a big WW at the time and Mayweather was just coming from Light welterweight so I can understand the hype at that time, Arum also had good references with the media so that helped put Mayweather into a corner, Guerrero has only fought twice at WW and Mayweather now is more experienced than Mayweather then, so yea there is more of a reason for Mayweather to fight Margarito then than to fight Guerrero now.

The Margarito win would have been better..... He beat better opponents had staying power at the weight for a number of years and was a 3x titlist with a few defenses at the weight before the Mosley debacle

I don't get why people alway try to downplay the Margarito fight, that fight would have been a great win for Mayweather, sure the win (If Mayweather had won) would somehow be ridiculed now but it would have been a great win IMO nonetheless.

WOW, just wow, Margarito would have destroyed Guerrero at WW

              I'm loving these threads lately

Guerrero beats a Berto that was coming off a 15 month lay-off and already exposed as a hypejob against Ortiz and know Guerreros some worldbeater that "deserves" a Floyd fight this is great. Keep the threads coming.

For the people talking about the size difference and everything, good posts. I can respect that. But prior to 2006 and prior to 2013 for Guerrero, Margarito's wins/opponents weren't so much better really.

This isn't a Margarito vs Guerrero thread. I still want someone to tell me prior to 2006 how were Diaz, Lewis, and Cintron more proven or so much better wins at 147 than Aydin and Berto???

Afraid to call it what it is.....

Floyd didn't match up well with Margarito or Williams for that matter

Don't blame him.... But it is what it is

This isn't a Margarito vs Guerrero thread, good to see you don't have the mental capacity to understand that.

Guerrero the most legit fight Floyd could take right now, who else is there??? Canelo "I haven't done jack s**t" Alvarez??? Let him get a good win first.

What had Diaz, Lewis, and Cintron done at 147 prior to 2006 that was sp much better than what Aydin and Berto had done prior to fighting Guerrero???
