They're both still making steps to be a known name at the weight right (Guerrero Ortiz and at a time Williams)??? I see parallels in the Guerrero-Berto win Oriz-Berto win and Williams-Margarito win..... All coming off the biggest wins of their career and fight of the year candidates...... Do you think its a coincidence he just happened to match up better with both Guerrero and Ortiz???
Ortiz and Guerrero brings the Latin audience which meant more PPV buys while Williams brings? Well nothing.... So that's why I said Williams wasn't at the level needed.

What had Lewid, Diaz, and Cintron done prior to 2006 that made them such better wins than Aydin and Berto in 2012???

Throwing Bundrage, Molina, and Lara in as possible fights for Floyd and than coming back with "Guerrero isn't a legit fight" is flat out ignorant and ******. Sorry. Molina's had a draw with Lara, beat Cintron, and a DQ with Kirkland. Lara had a draw with Molina, what should have been a W over Williams, and a draw with Vanes. And than Cornelius Bundrage....are you f**king serious???

at least those fights would be more competitive than Robert freakin Guerrero yes the same Robert Guerrero that was fighting at 135 a couple fights ago.

Do you really think this going to be a competitive fight? Nobody thinks this gonna be close, thats why people are shyting on it and calling it a cherrypick.

He fought Hatton and retired..... Had he fought Williams after or even gave Williams the impression a fight would've taken place its a good chance Quintana would've never happened....

Considering Williams-Quintana I was agreed to about a week after Floyd-Hatton, I don't think Floyd would have really been able to fight Williams next anyway, unless he'd beaten Quintana, which he didn't the first time.

I just don't see the duck there at all. Hatton was a much better fight at the time than Williams.

I'm not arguing that point at all.... I agree... I said after or even a slight indication he had interest...

He seems quick to jump on recent fight of the year candidate winners and titleholders (RG is interim I know).... But the one he didn't fight he doesn't match up well with.... I don't think that was a coincidence

A title another notch on his belt.... I thought we were talking about competition belts and ranking..... Hadn't factored potential ppv buys into the equation.... That's probably the source of the disconnect.... I apologize
