Do you really think this going to be a competitive fight? Nobody thinks this gonna be close, thats why people are shyting on it and calling it a cherrypick.
I think you've got your head in the sand. Many people, especially knowledgeable ones, feel that Guerrero has as good a chance as any, even if no one is being given much of a chance at all. Hate if you want but don't act as if you're speaking the popular opinion.

No we are talking about Mayweather, he doesn't give a toss about a belt unless you can add PPV sales to his name, Williams was a nobody who brings nothing to his PPV sales, am sorry to break that to you, am glad you miss that disconnection...sorry.

So that's what I thought. The only thing that made him such a better fight was his size difference, which has been brought up many times, and because he KO'd a lot of ehhhhh "contenders".

Well its ok to dismiss certain fighters because of their ppv sales..... Gotcha

Even though both Ortiz and Guerrero have headlined 0 ppv's combined and May 5 is traditionally a big fight date for the sport

I thought Mayweather was the face of boxing.... Surely he doesn't need help selling ppv's right???

So if for the next year or two, Guerrero beat a bunch of ehhhh contenders (guys like Jo Jo Dan, Shawn Porter, Jesus Soto Karass, Mike Jones, Carson Jones, Luis Abregu, guys on that level), people would all of a sudden say he's a big fight for Floyd???

I'm not throwing it away, I just said his legit wins prior to 2006 weren't so much better than Guerrero's, that was the question of the thread. His size difference and because he KO'd a lot of nobodies are why people say it was a big fight. And I said that's a good response because that's the truth.

But Floyd beats Hatton in December 2007, Williams proceeds to lose to Quintana two months later. How is that a duck??? Williams-Quintana was released via ESPN as a signed fight on December 20, 2007 a little more than a week after Floyd stopped Hatton.

I guess we would have never known since Williams proceeded to lose to Quintana, avenged that loss, than moved up in weight.

What can Guerrero possibly do to make this fight competitive? This is a horrible mismatch. In all honesty Guerrero's gonna get knocked out. Floyd know's this
