I just can't take wilder seriously after seeing that big fat dude knocking him down, he needs to fight some quality opponents first.

People want to call this kid the best junior middleweight in the world when he isn't fighting junior middleweights. The rest of the division is fighting each other while Alvarez is fighting Matt Hatton and Josesito Lopez.
      Oh for f u ck's sake.

I swear to god people should be required to take a reading test before being allowed to sign up to this website.

Here's my original post, to which this dude is referring.

I can sort of see your point though. Canelo doesn't really deserve to be mentioned in the same light. Plus he was signed to fight Williams, and the people who keep bringing up the Josesito Lopez fight are pure haters, since they tried to secure a good replacement. That was just unlucky and nothing else.

My point is how are we even credible on any level to place these guys in any tiered system when we aren't part of a boxing organization? By keyboard analyst default, none of our opinions matter in reality......dude.

I see, so you aren't here to discuss boxing, afterall.

Funny that you would rack up 25,000 posts in order to non-discuss boxing.

          To each his own.

And by the way, the stick poke is the sort of thing a self-righteous ****head who has just been shown up and has no decent response would do, or so it seems to me. Not looking to pick a beef, rather I'm saying your posts are bogus.

You said that people bringing up the Josesito Lopez fight are pure haters, because Alvarez signed to fight Paul Williams. That implies that Lopez was okay, because he tried to fight someone better and something unfortunate happened.

Okay, yes indeed, it is I who requires a reading examination in this instance.

                Sorry about that.

No I don't think that it was completely excusable, and the word 'hater' in reference was too strong a term on my part.

What I should have said is that I basically give him a pass on that instance.

It seemed like they tried to secure a better opponent, and they settled on Lopez because they thought they could still sell it.

I'm ignoring the backroom dealing, which is erroneous.

I actually do apologize, I misread your post, and I respect your position there, although it's hard to know what to make of the situation. Than again, it was GBP, which is quickly becoming a big joke of the boxing world.

NO, Wilder is considered the top American heavyweight prospect, which is what he is. Meanwhile, Canelo parades around with a title belt (which he won against a feather-fisted welter) calling himself a world champion when he hasn't fought a legit 154 pound contender.

Canelo has over 40 fights and has been gradually stepping up his competition. Lopez and old Mosley are still leagues above what Wilder has fought.
