I haven't heard many people hyping up Wilder
I've heard many people saying that Canelo is the best MW. lol. The dude is the same size as Chavez jr but won't fight Sergio. Canela is a chicken.

I haven't heard many hyping Wilder up but IMO its clear to see how desperate people are hoping he will amount to something. Hes got a heavy right hand but that is all, he is another Tye Fields, maybe worse.

I mean lets be real, that right hand he threw, how the fcuk did Kelvin Price not manage to get out of the way of that?

Canelo on the other hand clearly has a lot of potential. I see absolutely zilch in Wilder except a very tall guy with a hard right hand. His right hand clearly possesses power but I have seen many guys just like him who go from flattening D level comp to taking a small step up and getting crushed and/or their power seemingly is no longer there.

Wilder is garbage, as of right now. He's got a big right hand, that's about it.

Most HW's now days are garbage anyways, aside from a handful.

I have never heard anyone hype Wilder up. If he beats a few top 25 guys by kayo he will surely be overrated, but right now.......not sure anyone know even who he is.

Exactly. Overrated my ass. When I saw him last night I said to myself "Who is that?". OP has a beef with Canelo for no reason.

One guy is fighting bums and drawing 30 million + viewers

The other guy is fighting bums and probably doesn't even have 5,000 fans

I don't think it's hard to tell which one is more overrated.

Wilder doesn't even get 1/4 of the hype and admiration that Canelo gets, he's barely spoken about. He's still a prospect without a real title and all of us are waiting for the day he steps up in competition.

I think Canello is rated correctly as a very promising talent, having racked up some excellent performances.

Wilder is laughably overrated any time anyone calls him anything more than a can crusher

I believe both guys have great potential.

Wilder if anything is still underrated. He he power in both hands and is very fast for a man his size. Wladimir said his hands are faster than David Haye's and I believe him. Wilder's problem is his immaturity: he get's overexcited in the ring sometimes when he gets an opponent hurt, but that is something which can be curtailed with little effort.

Canelo is overrated by the people saying he can beat Mayweather. Generally, however, he is assessed fairly.
