Serious question. How is Martinez/Floyd the same as Martinez/Ward?

I also would like to see Martinez fight Ward also.

    I like both fights.
You are 1 of the few Floyd fans that I would say without a doubt loves boxing more than Floyd.

Now as for Ward-Martinez, I do not believe for a second that that fight is competitive. Ward absolutely destroys Martinez. I have no doubt about it.

I was watching Boxing before Floyd Mayweather was born. A lot of fans of Mayweather are in their first era so it's natural to be attached to your first fighter you're a big fan of. I remember the day's when I loved Alexis Arguello more than I loved Boxing

The only reason I even started being a fan of Mayweather was because I heard Roger Mayweather's Nephew was turning pro. Roger was one of my favourite's in his day. Still is now.

Agreed but I thought the same with Froch, It's still a fight I wanted to see.

Martinez would lose to Ward but there isn't much out there left for Ward to do before he moves to 175 which I believe he will.

I'd still like to see him fight Bute even though Froch destroyed him.

Bute, Martinez, Golovkin I'd all like to see happen. Won't be too bothered if none of those happen though.

Yes he might be a small chap at 154. Martinez is small for 160, but if you are big enough to go up to 154 more then once, then there should be no reasons to not go again....unless it simply doesnt suit your agenda?

Why would anyone NOT want to see Floyd in a genuinely tough fight ? Its the stuff that makes Champions and builds on legacies. Fighting and beating Martinez would make up for him and Manny ducking each other and leave him in a great place legacy wise.
Floyd fighting sergio @ 154 wont mean ****. He beats sergio(which im sure he will) he wont get any credit for it.

its either at 160 or dont fight him at all.

It's really inexcusable and at this point the most annoying thing I've been hearing is how Martinez will somehow be drained at 154, I honestly don't see that. Sergio is still a really small MW, I doubt he struggles to make 154. The money is there, Martinez has had this momentum going for quite some time too. I say Floyd fights Guerrero, then Sergio at 154. He could retire after that, good way to go.

Sergio is my favorite boxer. But there is no way he can compete with Ward at 168. It will be brutal.

Ward is a top notch solid built 168 fighter.

Martinez is a top notch small 160 fighter.

When skills is relatively even (I think Ward is the smarter fighter though), then the bigger fighter will usually win.

              Respect.

Funny enough concerning Ward-Froch, if fights were 15 rounds, that fight would have tightened up extremely. Ward slowed down drastically in the championship rounds. I haven't seen many people mention that.

Both are 1 division away from eachother

I'd like to see both fights but wouldnt expect either to happen

                  Yeah that did worry me.

He was getting tired at the end.
