They have decent boxing skills. I don't know how well they would fare if they crossed over but the thread asks for MMA fighters that could show some potential and those two did back in the day. Currently, they are not factors in MMA let alone boxing. I already stated that Arlovski does not have the best chin to begin with so that was clear from the start. However, he does have more skill than many MMA heavyweights. Anyway, most of these threads are hypothetical. At the end of the day nobody knows and it's all opinion.

The guys being mentioned by me were Gomi, Pulver, and Arlovski. From what I know, only Pulver has dome some professional boxing, the other two have not. I don't like Silva at all.Comment

Arlovski? He's got a worse chin than Enzo Maccarinelli & hasn't 1/10th of the ability. That guy would get absolutely murdered in the ring.Comment

I don't want to go in circles stating the same thing again. My original post stated that Arlovski has good boxing for MMA standards but that his chin was never too good and has gotten worse with time.
It seems like I made a basic, two line reply mentioning a few guys who might or might not be moderately successful if they were boxers and several posters have misunderstood a simple observation I made. Hope this thread does not morph into another MMA vs. boxing debate going nowhere. I am a fan of both sports and have enjoyed them for many years. The way I see it is "To each its own".Comment

Huh? Anderson was just sparring with the guy and was getting the better of him, you pick Masvidal who got outstruck by Melendez for a lot of the Fight but not Anderson who has shown consistently to be the best Striker in MMAGetting schooled at Wild Card by journeymen while holding the title "best fighter in the world" last year is all the evidence I need that Silva would have never gotten far in boxing.
Jorge Masvidal though, oozes potential and is an amazing boxer, not just for MMA standards either. Ashame he didn't try to pursue it after his first pro fight, went straight to MMA.Comment
