MMA Fighters who could do good in Boxing

Some of the MMA Fighters I think could have or can still do good in Boxing are:Aldo, Edgar, both Diaz Brothers, Anderson, Sergei, Hunt and Dos Santos. I'm interested to know which MMA Fighters you think could have some success in Boxing

How do you define "doing good"?

I dont think any, but if I had to choose two that if started boxing young and only boxing. JDS and Silva might make top 20. Maybe...

George St Pierre and Frankie Edgar hands down. Both know how to use that jab.

Ok well I think Anderson and Dos Santos are the best Boxers in MMA in potential and ability

The ONLY fighter I could see having some success would be JDS because the HW division is absolute shyt. Everybody else gets killed.

I added Hunt as well, the Heavyweight Division is weaker than most of the other divisions so Dos Santos could still get to the top twenty if he focused on just Boxing

I was actually thinking about making a thread like this a several days ago but i was`nt sure whether it belonged in the boxing section of the forums or the MMA section of the Forums.

As far as your question, the first fighter that came to my mind several days ago was Anderson Silva. His style would be similar to a Prime Roy Jones being that they both use their athletic gifts to evade punches, they both have awkward tricky trap setting styles and the fact that Silva is a power puncher like prime Roy in the lower weight classes.

I believe Silva would have done very well from super Middleweight to Cruiserweight.

Another fighter that came to mind was a prime and motivated Rampage Jackson. He was a very skilled boxer puncher who was athletically gifted.

Jose Aldo is another MMA fighter that would do well in boxing.

If you want to make a Thread like this then do it, I've seen some of the most ****** Threads made here some funny as well but are kept here. About what you said they are Fighters who could have or can still have some success but another factor is the weight division they are in.

Aldo would be fighting at Welterweight which is more stacked than Cruiserweight and Heavyweight that's another reason why I could see Anderson being among the top Boxers if he had focused on it
