I would have to go with Jens Pulver and Takanori Gomi. They had a very good fight back in the Pride era and it was mostly boxing, no holds or takedowns. One of the best heavyweights in the boxing department was Andrei Arlovski although his chin has never been top notch and has gotten worse with time. Mark Hunt is another one with good chances due to his power and incredible chin.
Gomi hasnt even response for a basic jab.You can see that in his fight with Nate Díaz.Pulver is even worst.I like Hunt but Ray Sefo is a better boxer than him and failed miserably in his trie in pro-boxing with a journeyman six rounder, Mighty Mo had his jaw broken with a four rounder and quit.Arlovsky has been brutally beaten by some good punchers even in MMA, and got dropped in an sparring sesion at the Wild Card Gym by a fat mexican with only one punch, the video is on youtube.

I don't see any MMA fighter doing something in boxing, even Anderson Silva who has the better boxing technic and natural talent, loss by a random unkown guy brazilian in boxing. His record in pugilism is 1-1 or something like that.

If you can box, later or sooner you trie at boxing, because is where the glory and the purse is.

None would be a top 20 guy in the weight class in boxing.

Could Silva make 175? I doubt it, and at 200 he would be too small. Silva already lost a boxing fight.

Stamina is a big issue. MMA fighters throw less punches in 5 mins than an average boxer does in 3 rounds. Can they go 12.

          In That Case...NONE OF THEM!

But Silva and JDS would be Decent Boxers! But we gotta understand the guys who they are looking impressive against, those guys can't box for ****! Like Silva looking like Ali against Forrest Griffin....Forrest Griffin is AWFUL and extremely SLOW, same with JDS in the Heavyweight Division, none of those guys can Box besides him

I also think a prime Fedor could possibly make a decent hw, I've heard he's been boxing since he was a child, he could fight at cruiser, yet another very weak division.

Cw and Hw are the two weakest divisions in boxing imo, anything below that would be far too difficult.

I'm not sure about hunt, he fought a much smaller japanese CW d level boxer in mma and had a very very difficult time landing, he's very slow, his power also looked very unimpressive.

Jorge Masvidal and Frankie Edgar come to mind. I think Edgar would have made an excellent boxer given the time. He's crisp and seems to realize the importance of lateral movement.

Those 2 IMO are the best boxers in MMA

Jose Aldo has the speed to have a potentially good career in boxing.

Silva did start boxing when he was young. Lost his first fight then quit.
