I would have to go with Jens Pulver and Takanori Gomi. They had a very good fight back in the Pride era and it was mostly boxing, no holds or takedowns. One of the best heavyweights in the boxing department was Andrei Arlovski although his chin has never been top notch and has gotten worse with time. Mark Hunt is another one with good chances due to his power and incredible chin.
MMA Fighters who could do good in Boxing

Amazingly Silva was stopped in a Pro boxing contest by an eventual scrub in 1998 and won a bout in 2005. The rest was MMA. He is a talent, though and if started out in the sweetscience, I believe he would have been quite good.Comment

GSP doesn't react to strikes too well and he doesn't really let his hands go, I know if he was more focused on Boxing he'd be more comfortable but I'm not sure. Right now he's back to full training again he should be fighting Condit in a few monthsComment

Getting schooled at Wild Card by journeymen while holding the title "best fighter in the world" last year is all the evidence I need that Silva would have never gotten far in boxing.http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...2826&cat=boxer

Jorge Masvidal though, oozes potential and is an amazing boxer, not just for MMA standards either. Ashame he didn't try to pursue it after his first pro fight, went straight to MMA.Comment
