I was actually mainly referring to current MMA Fighters which is why Fedor wasn't mentioned

The Klitschkos had destroyed guys much more faster and technical than Dos Santos early in their careers, finishing them in the early rounds. The thing is that MMA has much less talent pool than boxing. If Dos Santos is really as good for compete for a title in boxing, then he would box and not be an MMA fighter earning 200.000 dollars for a fight for the HW championship in the UFC vs Frank Mir.That is ridicoulous, be real.

Kharitonov is a guy who really has a chin and hits hard (harder than Dos Santos too) and have experience at boxing. He fought in that aiba semi-pro with a 18 year old kid amateur and eat 1-2 all day with no response. If Kharitonov can't do nothing in boxing, nobody in MMA actually can't do.Also, as I said yesterday, Ray Sefo, the great kickboxer (boxing based), tried in pro-boxing during his prime, and was knocked out cold (in K-1 his chin is considered legendary) by an anonnymous six rounder bum in the first round.

                The conclusions are obvious.

Dos Santos being schooled in sparring by an amateur middleweight (by the looks of things, he can't really throw a proper punch to save his life--not a requirement in MMA of course):

Amazingly Silva was stopped in a Pro boxing contest by an eventual scrub in 1998 and won a bout in 2005. The rest was MMA. He is a talent, though and if started out in the sweetscience, I believe he would have been quite good.
i was about to post this

i went to a mma kickboxing fight live kastnight and was stunned with how little craft/technique was used
boxing was so fined tuned over the years it will take mma a very long time to become as difficult i dont see any top mma fighter doing well in boxing

top fighters are born and bred
                    this sport is very unique

I wouldn't take too much from a sparring session from a while ago, also we're talking about potential here too
