Overhyped, I wouldnt say so.. The only problem I have is that he doesnt stay active as much to get more exposure.

If he stops trying to be Roy Jones and goes more in the direction of Oscar De La Hoya, you're looking at a guy that'll be hard to beat

He doesn't jab like he should, and he throws those big winging shots like Roy and Hamed used to... He seems to be able to tell there's stuff he needs to work on, so we'll see

Hopefully for the sake of boxing he really proves himself cuz he has star potential and he's got a lot of potentially huge fights in and around his weight class

He is giant compared to the guys at 126 even...it is like LeBron playing against the All-Ivy team...they're good and deserve credit, but Nonito is cut from a different cloth...if he is really a top 5 p4p guy he should be crossing names off of his list, not cherrypicking the weakest name at 122. Call Rigo untested if you want, but Cubans earn every title they get...most Cubans deserve an alphabet belt years before they defect...

Donaire is the real deal. Natural talent, punching power and speed all contributed to good wins in impressive fashion.

There's always guys that are huge for their weightclass, usually doesn't get counted against them p4p: PWill, Caballero, Hearns... Should Mike Jones move up to 160 just to make it fair? Even one of those Cubans you're touting, Jhonson, just got beat by the much taller and less hyped Willie Nelson, nobody's complaining Willie was too tall.

Darchinyan was this little monster knocking out everybody before the underdog Donairee KTFHO.

Montiel was on an incredible Run before brutally being kayoed.

Rigo is a step up??? a prospect with 9 fights?
whats especially cool about him stopping vic is nonito got revenge for vic beating his brother glen!!!! rigo hasn't done any thing yet, same as bute..gr8 amature and then hyped as a pro and put straight at the top based on potential rather that achievement.

Overhyped IMO, I've seen nothing but flashy substance against midgets and shot-to-**** midgets, in terms of opposition they are getting worse & worse each fight.

5′ 5½″ my ar5e, try 5ft7½ picking on 115-122lb midgets who have to eat a **** tonne to make that weight.

The guy is a fully pledged lightweight under Toprank of course and will continue deceive the public for their hard earned $$$$

He won't fight Nishioka and he sure as hell will not fight Rigondeux nevermind step up nearer where he belongs and fight Gamboa or any other top notch prime fighter nearer his own size.

He's not overhyped but he will lose at 122-126.
