He's a decent fighter, but definitely overhyped, people kept saying he was the next Pacquiao. I know Manny's getting old, but really?

        I like Donaire.

Pretty much jumped on the Donaire bandwagon after Montiel, but he didn't look so good his next bout and there's too much hemming and hawing and "who should I fight next?".

Think Nonito might be not in much hurry to fight guys like Gamboa or Rigondeux or Broner.

Unless I am missing something...would love to see him start proving me wrong...

Another up and comer who might give Nonito trouble is that Gary Russel Jr.

Like very much what I have seen of him.

One of those guy's is at his weight class, the other is a few lbs higher, see what happens if he get's in the ring with one of them.

As I said, he's got talent, but I don't believe he's close to as good as some would have you believe.

            Gamboa is fighting again soon???

Looking forward to seeing how Donaire will look against a fighter that's taller than him.... Could be some shaky moments for him..... While I expect Rigo to walk through TK and his fans (Rigo's) claim he is one of the best in the sport and should be on the p4p list lol

Donaire is a very good fighter with very good physical attributes. He does need to work on his fundamentals though, he's an instinctive fighter, he's basically at his best when he doesn't have to think too much and reacts off instinct, which is why he looks like a beast against guys who come at him. Against guys who make him box and think he won't look as good because he does make some technical mistakes.

Not really sure if he's overhyped though, every fighter gets overhyped, especially after the type of performance Donaire gave against Montiel.

I expect him to get more criticism after the Mathebula fight, Mathebula is not the right guy for him too look good against.

he is a Top10 P4P for sure but no why should he be rated with top 5 elites specially when you have size advantage in every fight looking like a highschooler beating up on 3rd graders
