He's one of the best P4P fighters in the world and he's gonna dominate his next opponent.

he had better considering his next opponent is the weakest title holder in the divison.

I love how people call Donaire overhyped then turns around and say that Rigo is for real. A guy who only fought 1 good opponent in his professional career

Rigondeux hasn't even had 10 pro fights yet & has already spanked Corboda, Casey & Ramos 3 guys who at least IMO anyway are as good if not better than Donaires next opponent & his last two previous.

Donaire is hot air, he'll keep fighting scrubs until Pacquaio retires. Quite clear Arum is hyping him to be the next 'Filipino megastar' avoiding any legit threat.
Says an awful lot when the guy wouldn't even risk putting him in with Arce!

First of all, he barely got by Cordoba in a snoozer. Casey, LOL. Ramos doesn't like to get hit, and lost all rounds against Shimoda. You're deluded if you think Casey or Ramos beat WV2 or Mathebula.

The guy is a fully pledged lightweight under Toprank of course and will continue deceive the public for their hard earned $$$$

He won't fight Nishioka and he sure as hell will not fight Rigondeux nevermind step up nearer where he belongs and fight Gamboa or any other top notch prime fighter nearer his own size.
How many times has he failed to make weight? So what's the problem?

Donaire is pretty much universally loved on these boards, but look at the other champs at 122 and tell me he isn't picking off the weakest of the lot...you're only lying to yourself if you think otherwise.

Riddle me this batman, should the alledged 4th best fighter on the planet be sniping his way through a useless division like 122? I didn't think so.

I'm over him. I just can't keep justifying his fights. I like his skill set and I've always been a pretty big defender of his..but I'm just "bleh" about him now. He could retire tomorrow and I probably wouldn't care much...at least then he'd have an excuse to not fight the best...

And yeah, JM1...the fact that Donaire is being compared to a guy with 10 fights should tell you all you need to know about how much "work" Donaire is NOT putting in.
