But look at the number of fights Lewis was expected to fail or struggle in.



VS Razer Ruddock (someone who had more p4p punching power then anyone Pacquaio ever fought)

it was expected to be a dog fight, Lewis was expected to lose, setting up a Ruddock vs Bowe showdown. Lewis took out Ruddock in 2 rounds, breaking his legs and ending his career.


vs undefeated Gary Mason(Lewis at the time only had 15 fights)
everyone thought it was a bad mistake to rush Lewis into a fight this soon, against someone with as much experience as Gary.
Lewis took that 'o' and broke Gary's face

what are you talking about?most of those fighters were looked at as great fighters at their peak but when pacquiao fought them (cotto,margarito)they were probably at their worst.earlier fights like barrera and ledwaba yeah but the more recent fights like oscar,cotto and margarito not so much

pac is a one dimensional, come-forward, amateurish boxer. so i expect him to lose in all of his fights. ask ted atlas. he'll tell you.

in the marg fight speed was his only advantage. they're both come-forward boxers. both were in battle-ridden fights. weigh and height difference was so huge speed won't even matter if you didn't have the stamina of a horse.
