  • So? Aren't you looking at Martin, who got snubbed by Shakie? How about the Isaac Cruz rematch? There's also Delos Santos, whom I predict will do well with Shak as well as a possible upset. You get upset with a statement that is more likely to happen than not?...

  • Where in that post I'm making an issue of inhouse fights? Isn't that the point? If fighters on the same stable can't be made easily, what's more with competing promoters? Fix or clean your house first before letting visitors come in right? It always boggles my mind why people keep talking about a fight...

  • Fact of the matter is this fight is not going to happen anytime soon. People talk about it as if it's just around the corner.

And why are these article always one-sided? Any crumbs from the Tank camp's side? Anything from Ellerbe? Mayweather, PBC people? Anything at all?

    Tank...

  • No need to talk about this fight at this point. Tank has to accommodate his fellow PBC fighters first like Martin, Isaac Cruz, Delos Santos, and maybe some new PBC guy comes up. There's also Haney and Teo Lopez who are now on free agent status. Which are supposedly relatively easier to make than with...

  • I would have used "short-lived" or "temporary." I have rented a small apartment for a period of one week many years past and I referred to myself as "transient" as differentiated from other dwellers. So I know the word and I understand what it can mean in other context...

  • You'll be crazy to be a fan of the sport just to follow one guy.

One fight a year is the norm. You'll be lucky to see them fight twice, let alone more than that....

  • This 50/50 thing doesn't even make sense to me. ESPN rarely do PPVs now. Fights that land PPV on SHO, ESPN does it on regular subscription.

This 50/50 thing only applies on PPV fights most of the time. Demanding 50/50 is making yourself equal in star status to the guy you are demanding...

  • Delusional. They fight once a year and they still have nerve to say things like this. These folks keep insulting fans. Seems this inactivity thing has become as normal as night and day. They're not even bothered by it.

  • The writing was on the wall when Espinoza stopped covering Wilder's fights starting from the Ortiz 2 fight, "Wilder-Ortiz PPV deal didn't make sense for us."

The Showtime boss passed it on to Fox Sports, which, of course, forced Deontay's management team to accept whatever deal...

  • Jaron Ennis fought nine times, eight times, six times, four times in his first starting years as a pro fighting 6 - 8-tier fighters. He doesn't need to fight that often anymore. His team was able to pad his undefeated record successfully. He only needs to fight once a year now. He already fought twice...

  • Ellerbe and Tank's trainer need to clarify once and for all whether they're really making the Pitbull rematch next for Tank or not. Isaac Cruz's team is relying on the rematch and can't decide on any other fight.

  • He might get the fight being an ex-DAZN fighter. But don't expect to be offered $2 million for the fight brother. DAZN is no longer throwing money like drunken sailors like they used to. That's why Malik and Wilder are eyeing Saudi oil money.

  • Tsk tsk, these GBP guys never learn any lesson calling out Tank.

Which will give the impression of begging for the fight. And then you lose any bargaining power and not be able to demand anything. Ellerbe would capitalize on you asking for the fight, not his team.

  • David Morrell: "Canelo Doesn't Want To Fight Anyone Dangerous"
    -----------------------

This guy has no faith in Jermall Charlo pulling off a win in this fight. It's obvious. He sees Charlo as "not dangerous."

  • The big fights for me are the small ones. Not the ones that involve Canelo, Canelo, Canelo, Canelo... Because I'm a fan of the sport overall, not just following one guy who can only fight twice a year at most, sometimes once. And there are 365 days in a year, 52 weeks, 12 months. I can't be a fan just...

    ---------------------

So Joshua vs Wilder is not going to happen unless it is sponsored by the Saudis. And there's no way it happens in the UK or the US.

Is this how this division has become now,...
